About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide with Annexia Home Health, you will provide essential personal care and supportive services to patients in their homes under the direction of a registered nurse or supervising clinician. Your work will play a critical role in helping patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their home environment.
You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), observe and report changes in patient condition, and provide compassionate, respectful care that supports each patient’s individualized plan of care. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful one-on-one relationships while contributing to a coordinated, patient-centered home care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene, while promoting dignity and independence.
- Support safe mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning in accordance with the plan of care.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment.
- Prepare and assist with meals in accordance with prescribed dietary needs and patient preferences.
- Observe, monitor, and promptly report changes in patient condition or safety concerns to nursing or supervisory staff.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and respectful engagement to enhance patient well-being.
- Provide medication reminders or assistance as permitted by Washington State regulations and agency policy.
- Accurately document services provided, observations, and patient responses in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to patient homes.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and care teams.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a care team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to providing care in the home setting.
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six (6) months or more of experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide.
- Prior experience in home health, hospice, or in-home care settings.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
- Competitive Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 pay per hour, depending on experience (DEO)
- Earning Potential: $41,600 – $52,000+ annually
- Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly direct deposit
Job Types:
- Part-time or PRN (Per Diem) – Build your own schedule
